In 1990, before there was “Green”, Faganel Builders recognized that construction techniques used in building homes hadn’t changed much in the last 50 years.
We decided to reevaluate all of our construction methods and techniques to see how they could be improved. Our goal was to build a house that is truly energy-efficient and one that provides a healthy, comfortable environment for today’s families.
We began by retaining the services of one of the country’s leading authorities, the Cold Climate Housing Center affiliated with the University of Minnesota .
In 1991, after 14 months, during which all our construction personnel went back to school to learn new state-of-the-art techniques, the first Faganel Builders Millennium III Green® home was built.
Since then, we have continued to improve our techniques and are continuing to produce award winning, quality, energy-efficient homes that few, if any, other builders in the area offer.
